BIOGRAPHY COACH NESTOR

Coach Nestor Briceno is a nationally recognized tennis development coach with over 30 years of experience in playing, teaching, and mentoring athletes of all levels—from beginner juniors and adults to ATP and ITF professionals. He has guided players to success across all USTA divisions, including coaching the former U.S. #1 , 10 top ITF junior for six consecutive years. A respected leader in tennis management, Coach Briceno served with Life Time Fitness, where he earned the prestigious Annual Artistry Award (2019) as the company’s top Manager/Coach among more than 40,000 employees. He also owned and operated a professional tennis academy in South Florida for over 25 years. Coach Briceno holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering from the University of the Pacific and is a USPTA-certified Tennis Professional and USTA mentorship program member.

We met Coach Néstor during the COVID shutdown of 2020. He became a reliable and steady resource for our family during a time of great uncertainty-when tennis facilities were closed and in-person coaching was often not possible. Despite the challenges, he continued to work with us through phone calls, FaceTime sessions, and video reviews, even directing our daughter’s training virtually.
